4. PROGRAMMING OF Q-RAE

The Q-RAE Monitor is built with a microcomputer to
provide programming flexibility for the user. Authorized
users can re-calibrate the monitor, change the alarm limits,
change site ID, user ID, datalogging period, real time
clock, etc.

Programming is menu-driven to provide intuitive end-user
operation. The display shows the menu options, and the
key pad is used for menu selection and data entry.

Note: The real time monitoring of the gas
concentration continues while in the
programming mode. However, during the
calibration or review datalog procedures, the real
time monitoring will pause until the procedures
are completed. In addition, entering programming
mode will pause the datalogging operation
automatically. After exiting programming mode,
datalogging operation will resume.
