Frequency Display Offset
It is possible to connect the
Excalibur Pro
to a down-converter to receive
frequencies that are normally beyond the
Excalibur Pro
’s frequency range.
When this is done, it is convenient to see the actual received frequency rather
than having to manually transpose the displayed frequency to the down-
converter’s input signal.
For this purpose, there is an option to add a user-defined offset to the
displayed frequency. This option is called
Display offset
and is located under
the
Options
top menu bar:
As usual, you can enter the display offset in Hz, kHz or MHz by terminating the
entered value with either
h
,
k
or
m
, respectively, should you need to change
the displayed frequency unit.
