NFC Operation
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a one touch way of pairing to your radio, when in
Bluetooth mode.
1. Repeatedly press the
MODE
button to select BLUETOOTH MODE.
2. Make sure you have NFC turned on, on your mobile device.
3. Hold your NFC mobile device within 20mm of the NFC sensor on the top of your radio
and your device should automatically pair to your radio. You will now be able to play
music as above in the Bluetooth section.
Disconnecting using NFC
To disconnect simply hold your mobile device within 20mm of the NFC sensor on top of
your radio and it will disconnect Bluetooth. If this didn’t work press the
MENU
button.
Select BT DISCONNECT and press
OK
. Then you will be asked ‘Device disconnect?’ select
YES then press
OK
. Your device will now disconnect, and the radio will go back into pairing
mode. The Bluetooth logo on the screen will be flashing.
Do not leave your NFC mobile device on top of your radio.
Optical In Operation
This feature enables you connect the audio sound signals from other sources to the unit.
1. Before connecting to the mains socket, use an optical cable (not included) to connect
to your external audio device through the
OPTICAL IN
socket at the rear of the unit.
2. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket. Press on the unit or on the remote control
to switch the unit on.
3. Press
MODE
on the unit or on the remote control repeatedly to select
Optical in
mode.
4. Operate your audio device directly for playback features.

Make sure the audio output setting of your source device is set to PCM mode.

The unit will automatically switch to standby mode after 10 minutes if the source device is
disconnected, switched off or the volume is too close to mute.
