Hints and Tips
If a problem occurs, it may often be due to something very minor. The following table
contains various tips.
Problem
Solution
No Power.
t
Ensure the mains cable is properly connected.
t
Make sure that the unit is turned on.
The unit does not respond
when pressing any buttons.
t
The unit may freeze up during use. Switch the unit
off and then on again.
t
As a last resort restore to Factory Setting, this will
delete all your settings and preset radio stations.
Radio DAB/FM
Poor reception.
t
Make sure the DAB/FM aerial is fully extended.
t
Electrical interference in your home can cause poor
reception. Move the unit away from them (especially
those with motors and transformers).
Desired station not found.
t
Weak signal. Use the Manual Tune function.
Radio Internet
No connection.
t
Make sure the Wi-Fi router is plugged in and working.
t
Reconnect the radio to your Wi-Fi.
t
Check you radio is within 5m of your router.
Can’t hear the radio station
t
Sometimes the Wi-Fi connection is temporary lost or
connection is weak, check the Wi-Fi connection or
move the radio closer to your router.
t
Not all radio stations transmit 24 hours a day, they
might not be transmitting.
t
Not all radio stations transmit at the same volume
level you may need to increase the volume.
Bluetooth
I cannot find
“
Menuett
” on my Bluetooth
device.
t
Ensure the Bluetooth function is activated on your
Bluetooth device.
t
Re-pair the unit with your Bluetooth device.
Can’t hear the music
t
You may need to increase the volume on the radio
and Bluetooth device.
NFC
Can’t connect using NFC
t
Sometimes it can take a few attempts the first time
you connect a device, try again.
t
Make sure NFC is activated on your mobile device.
t
Make sure you hold your device over the NFC sensor,
you need to be within 20mm of the sensor.
If any functional abnormality is encountered, unplug the unit from the mains socket and
reconnect it again.
