Part 1. Safety Precautions
1. Please read this Manual carefully before using to make sure CB86-PLUS is safely operated.
2.
CB86-PLUS balance charger requires DC power supply, otherwise it cannot be used.
You need to
select a DC power supply with an output voltage of 10.5V-15V and an output current not less than
15A.
3. The CB86-PLUS input power supply cannot have great fluctuations, because it may burn the charger
or damage the battery and power supply in extreme cases of current fluctuations. For example, the
input protection voltage of the charger should be set according to the specifications of the input power
supply to avoid overloading of the power supply. Some power supplies have overload protection,
which will produce large fluctuations in voltage.
4. Connect the charger to the power supply first, and then set the charging mode and charging
voltage/current after the charger is turned on, then connect the battery, press the start button to
charge (
Never plug in the battery first and then power on the charger. When the battery is fully
charged, please remove the battery first, and then power off the charger
).
5. CB86-PLUS is an 8-port charger that supports 8 independent 1-6S battery cycle charging, but it does
not support 12S batteries. (If you want to charge the 12S battery, you must split it into 2 independent
6S battery packs for charging. The 2 6S battery packs can not connect to any external electrical parts,
otherwise the charger or battery packs will be burned out)
6. Keep the charger always away from children and pets.
7. Keep the charger supervised when charging or discharging. If you have to leave, please disconnect
the battery to prevent any unexpected dangers or damage.
8. Ensure the charger settings match the battery packs with correct charging voltage and charging
current. Otherwise, the battery will be damaged and even cause a fire.
9. Do not leave metal or wire objects into the charger.
10. If the battery has any abnormalities such as leakage, bulging, peeling of the outer skin, color change
or deformation, please do not charge or discharge it.
11. Do not mix batteries of different types, capacities or manufacturers.
12. Do not refit or disassemble the charger.
13. Do not put the charger or any battery on a flammable surface or close to a combustible material while
in use. Do not (dis)charge in an R/C model or inside a full-sized automobile.
14. Never block the air intake holes and never use in a confined space or high temperature environment,
which may cause internal temperature protection and result in abnormal (dis)charging .
15. Do not try to charge "non-rechargeable" dry cells.
16. Do not exceed the suggested maximum battery charge rates and carefully follow the
recommendations and safety advice of battery manufacturers.
