Venting Table
The following table shows the relationship between vertical and horizontal vent lengths and will help you to determine the
correct vent lengths for optimum stove performance.
HOW TO USE THE VENT TABLE
1. Determine the height of the system and the number of elbows required.
2. Use the Venting Chart to determine the maximum horizontal distance allowed.

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS LOCATE THE STOVE IN SUCH A WAY AS TO MINIMIZE THE NUMBER OF OFFSETS
AND/OR HORIZONTAL RUNS. A 1/4” VERTICAL RISE IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY 12” OF HORIZONTAL RUN.

Note: For each 45° elbow
installed in the horizontal run,
the length of the horizontal run
must be reduced by 18" (45 cm).
This does not apply if the 45°
elbows are installed on the
vertical part of the vent system.
Note: For every 90° elbow after the
first 90° elbow the horizontal run
must be reduced by 36” (90cm).
