Disconnect the power by removing fuses or turning off circuit breakers.

The support structure must be securely mounted and capable of reliably supporting a
minimum of 50 pounds (22.7 kg).
WARNING:
Support Directly from the Building Structure.

Secure the outlet box (or make sure the existing box is secured) directly to the
building structure. Use appropriate fasteners and building materials.

Figures 1,2 and 3 are examples of different ways to mount the outlet box in different
situations. A longer downrod may be required in sloped ceiling situations to maintain
proper blade clearance. Fan will mount at 25 degrees maximum with minimum 18"
downrod (for 60" fan) or 24" downrod (for 72" fan). (Fig. 3)

DO NOT USE WITH SLOPE CEILING ADAPTER ACCESSORY.
