This function allows to set the value, in the form of a percentage, of the output maximum rated current (see paragraph
“OPERATION-Charging characteristic-BULK phase).
For example, for the model SBC 1200 NRG FR (maximum rated current 100A) by setting the 80%, a corresponding
absolute value of the maximum rated current of 80A (80% of 100A) will be obtained.
By changing the output maximum rated current, the batteries’ charge can be optimized according to their capacity.
Moreover, this function can be used to reduce the maximum absorption from the AC mains in case the battery charger
is supplied by means of a generator or a dock socket with limited power.
In case of battery chargers connected in parallel (current sharing mode), the selected option must be the same in all
battery chargers.

This function allows to reduce the acoustic noise generated by the battery charger.
By enabling the “Silent mode”, the maximum fan speed is limited to the 66% of the rated value.
The battery charger in this mode, if needed, carries out a reduction of the maximum output current according to the
temperatures measured by the two sensors inside the battery charger.
In case of battery chargers connected in parallel (current sharing mode), the selected option must be the same in all
battery chargers.
