3.1 INTENDED USE
This coffee machine is intended solely for domestic use.
Other wrong uses or technical modifications that can cause damage/harm to objects or people are strictly
prohibited.
Place the coffee machine in a safe location on a level surface where it cannot be knocked over; leave sufficient
space between the sides to allow the heat to discharge from the slits for that purpose; do not set near or over
heat sources or open flames as the frame could be damaged. Do not leave the coffee machine exposed to
atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.) unless expressly foreseen.
3.2 USERS
Do not allow children or inexperienced persons to use the coffee machine without supervision.
Do not leave the packing materials within the reach of children as they are potentially dangerous.
3.3 POWER CORD AND CONNECTION TO THE MAINS POWER NETWORK
The electric voltage must correspond to that shown on the stick-on nameplate on the machine, connecting it only
to an adequate power outlet.
If defective, the power cord should not be replaced by the user but only by a Service Centre authorised by
QUICK MILL
.
Do not pull the power cord, or the appliance itself, to remove the plug from the power outlet; do not touch with
wet hands.
Fully unroll the power cord to prevent dangerous overheating.
3.4 Characteristics
The machine comprises a boiler for dispensing coffee and an exchanger for producing hot water and steam.
The body of the machine is composed of a stainless steel load-bearing structure.
3.5 Safety
The boiler has a mechanical overpressure spring valve calibrated to 9 bar, as well as a thermal protector that
switches off the heating process in case of failure. (Fig. 1)
The exchanger has a thermal protector that switches off the heating process in case of failure.
Both electromagnetic pumps have a thermal protector with automatic reset that protects them in case of
overheating.
All heating components and those subjected to electric voltage are located inside the machine’s panels.
Fitted with switch that activates the heat exchanger only as needed to reduce energy consumption.
3.6 Vibrations
The machine comes with rubber antivibration feet. Under normal operating conditions, the machine does not
generate vibrations that are harmful to persons or objects.
