9.12. AT+CNMA New Message Acknowledgement to UE/TE

The Write and Execution Commands confirm successful receipt of a new message (SMS-DELIVER or

SMS-STATUS-REPORT) routed directly to the TE. If the UE does not receive acknowledgement within

required time (network timeout), it sends an

RP-ERROR

message to the network. The UE will

automatically disable routing to the TE by setting both

<mt>

and

<ds>

values of

AT+CNMI

to 0.

converted to characters of the currently selected TE character set (refer to

AT+CSCS

command in

3GPP TS 27.007

). The type of address is given by

<toda>
