4.1.2. Installation of the SU pump chamber
The installation of SU pump chamber takes place in the reverse order as described in
the deinstallation chapter (4.1.1). First place the pump chamber initially on the jig (see
image on the left) and then insert it into the ring drive and fix.
Pay attention to the following torque values:

8 bolts pump chamber 35 Nm (25.8 lb-ft)

2 bolts clamping ring 10 Nm (11 lb-ft), uniform tightening of both halves (identical gap
dimensions)
4.2. Replacement bearing unit

First disassemble the SU pump chamber according to chapter 4.1.1. Afterwards follow the drawings and
the description below:
1. Loosen and remove the bolts of the hood. Remove the
hood.
2. Remove clamp screw.
1. Loosen and remove bolts.
2. Remove jig.
3. Loosen bolts of the ring drive.
4. Pull the ring drive forward until the rear bolts are
reachable.
5. Loosen of six bolts.
6. Pull the shaft-bearing-unit out of ring drive.
