4.1. Replacement of the SU pump chamber
The Quattroflow 20kSU pump is designed for use in single-use processes. The wetted pump chamber
made of plastic can be replaced quickly and easily. The simple disposal of the pump chamber saves
time and money because the cost of cleaning, sterilization or a sophisticated cleaning validation is
inapplicable.
The replacement of the pump chamber can be conducted by the operator. Please follow the drawings
for the disassembly and assembly.
Before starting the disassembly ensure that the pump is not in operation and cannot be
accidentally taken into operation. Also, make sure that the system was emptied before
the change.

Required tools: Allen hex key 4, 6 and 8 mm

bolts on both side.

cover.
Loosen both bolts
of the clamping
ring.
Loosen eight screws
and remove together
with pressure plate
Pull off pump
chamber. Take
careon the weight.
