If a fault is detected, the amber Drive Service Action Required LED is on (

Before you can safely remove the drive, the blue Drive Service Action Allowed LED must be on (

Figure 6

, Item1).

Remove the failed drive from the base system.

Pull the drive handle to the left for a drive in the QM1200 or QS1200 base system (

Figure 7)

Drive Handle

ATTENTION  Potential damage to drives

 – 

Bumping drives against another surface can damage the drive 

mechanism or connectors. To avoid damage when removing or installing a drive, always place your hand 
under the drive to support its weight.
