Unpacking the DXi6902
By following these unpacking instructions, you help ensure that the system will continue
to be safeguarded after it arrives at the installation site:
• Unpacking the DXi6902 Node
• Unpacking the DXi6902 Array Module or Expansion Module
Caution: Make sure to retain all packing materials, as well as the documentation and
other items included in the shipping box. The packaging materials
must
be
used if the system is relocated.
WARNING:
The DXi6902 Node, Array module (RBOD), and Expansion module (EBOD)
weigh 53.0 pounds (24.0 kg), 59.0 pounds (26.8 kg), and 57.0 pounds
(25.9 kg) respectively. A minimum of two people are required to lift either
chassis.

Node
The box containing the DXi6902 Node contains the following items:
• Rack mount rails
• Cable management straps
• Accessory kit, which includes the following:

• Registration (Warranty) card
• Base Node kit:
• C13 to C14 power cord (2)

• Cable kit Fibre Channel HBA (1):
• Cable, 10 GB, 6 meter (6)
• Node bezel and bezel keys
One of the following 10 GbE network cable kits ships with the Node in a separate box,
depending on configuration:
• Cable kit dual 10 GbE NIC (Optical) - Cable, 10 GbE, 10 meter, with SFP+ (2)
• Cable kit dual 10 GbE NIC (Twinax) - Cable, 10 GbE, 5 meter (2)
