Configuring the Date and
Time

The date and time can be set from the DX-Series system web pages.
Setting the correct date and time allows the DX-Series system to provide
accurate reports when events occur on the DX-Series system.

To access the
Date and Time Configuration
page:

In the
Configuration
page, click
Date & Time
.
The management frame displays the
Date & Time Configuration
page (see figure 32 ).

There are two options for setting the system date and time:
a
Select
Manual
to manually set the system date and time using the
Change
button for the system date and drop down boxes for the
system time.
b
Select
Use NTP
(Network Time Protocol) to synchronize the
DX-Series system to an NTP server. The “Select a Server”
selection makes a list of well-known NTP servers such as the U.S.
