APPENDIX - A (4/8)
To upgrade a Video Interface Board First Generation into Second Generation,
follow the procedure as below:
a)
Cut the two tracks located between :
-
pin 11 of connector J1
and
pin 3 of the IC2 circuit
-
pin 12 of connector J1
and
pin 4 of the IC2 circuit
b)
Reverse the signal of the contrast by connecting a wire between :
-
pin 11 of connector J1
and
pin 4 of the IC2 circuit
-
pin 12 of connector J1
and
pin 3 of the IC2 circuit
To use a second generation video Interface Board with a first generation of LCD screen,
you can use the same wiring and change the way they are connected, as indicated
below :
