Chapter 2 — Installing Hardware

Replacing the CD-ROM or DVD ROM Drive

Refer to the following illustrations for instructions on replacing the CD-ROM unit:

1. Disconnect the CD-ROM IDE cable (

) and power cable (

) from the PCB board at the rear of the CD-

ROM drive.

2. Remove the two screws securing the CD-ROM assembly to the chassis.
