c. Select at least one port.
6. Click Save.
The Add Static MAC Address window closes.
QSS or QuNetSwitch adds the MAC address.
Configuring Rate Limits on a Port
Rate limits restricts the speed at which a port can send or receive packets.
1. Log in to QSS, or open QuNetSwitch in QTS.
2. Go to Configuration > Traffic > Rate Limits .
3. Identify a port.
4. Click .
The Configure Rate Limiting window opens.
5. Configure the rate limits.
a. Optional: Select additional ports.

• This applies rate limits to the additional ports.
• To select all available ports, select All.
b. Optional: Specify an ingress rate.
Note
You must deselect Unlimited to set an ingress rate.
c. Optional: Specify an egress rate.
Note
You must deselect Unlimited to set an egress rate.
Tip
Click Match rates to use the same ingress and egress rates.
6. Click Save.
QSS or QuNetSwitch saves the rate limits.
Managing Access Control List (ACL) Entries
Access control lists allow you to handle network traffic in a switch by using controlled rule sets. Each ACL rule
is specific to a user-created set of conditions that a data packet must meet to match the rule. In the instance
that a data packet has no ACL rule match, the switch applies the default rule. Otherwise, the switch matches
the data packet to the rule and permits or denies the packet.
You can use ACLs to control host access to different parts of a network or to control traffic forwarding or
blocking at the switch level.
