Adjust the media guides on the multipurpose tray to match
the width of the media you are using.

Align the media, and insert it print side up between the
media guides, sliding it as far as it will go in the printer.

»

Note: To optimise print speed on letter/A4 size media, you must
load the media for long-edge feed (LEF) and select Letter LEF or
A4 LEF as the media size in the printer driver. See the sections
on configuring the printer driver at the beginning of this chapter
for more information.
