Windows 95 Printer Driver

Note: If you want to update the Windows NT printer driver, refer to 
“Windows NT 4.0 Printer Driver” on page 4-22.

From the Windows 95 Start menu choose Settings.

From the Settings menu choose Printers.

If it’s installed, select the QMS 2060 WX printer driver in the 
Printers window.

From the File menu choose Delete.

Select Yes when you’re asked if you’re sure you want to delete the 
printer.

Shut down your PC in the usual way.

If you’re using a parallel connection, continue with the next 
section, “Parallel Connections.” 

If you’re using an Ethernet network connection, skip to 
“Ethernet Connections” on page 4-21.

Parallel Connections

Windows 95 and the parallel port on the QMS 2060 WX both support 
Plug and Play technology, which lets your PC and its attached devices 
work together automatically. The correct printer driver is automatically 
selected for you when you perform the following procedure. However, 
if you ever want to install (or reinstall) the printer driver manually, use 
the instructions in “Ethernet Connections” on page 4-21.

Turn on the printer.

The printer goes through an initialization warm-up and self-testing 
that lasts less than 2 minutes. When the warm-up is complete, 

Idle

 displays in the message window.

Turn on the PC.
