Viewing a Saved Host Configuration from a Text File (.txt)
You can view a text file (.txt) of the host configuration that you saved to an external
file in your working directory.
This section discusses:

Saving the host configuration to a text file (see section 7.11.1)

7.11.1
Saving the Host Configuration to a Text File
Perform the following steps to save a host configuration to a text file:
1. From the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager main window, perform the following
steps:
a. In the HBA tree, select the host (or HBA, HBA port, device, or LUN connected
to the host).
b. Do one of the following:

From the Host menu, click Save , the click To Text File .

Right-click the host (or HBA, HBA port, device, or LUN connected to the
host) in the HBA tree. From the pop-up menu, click
Save , then click To
Text File .

Press CTRL+T.
2. When successful, the host configuration successfully saved to file message
displays. The message includes the path and file name (in the format
hostname_date_number.txt ).
NOTE: Write down the path and file name of the host configuration file.
