5.4 Voice mail (network dependent)

Press the <UP> key or the <LEFT> and <UP/DOWN> keys to select «CALL LOG».
A voice mail waiting indication (VMWI)
is an indication that there is a new voice mail message
waiting. This feature is only available if you have subscribed a voicemail service. Press and hold <Key
1> to dial the voice mail number (5.6.11) to listen to your voice mail messages.
5.4.1
Access voice mail messages
The
icon is displayed and a VMWI entry is stored in the call log when you have new voice message.
Press the <UP/DOWN> keys to select the desired VMWI entry and <ENTER CALL> to dial voicemail.
Note: If a more recent VMWI entry is received from the same network server as an existing VMWI entry,
the new VMWI will not be stored. Instead, the date/time of the existing VMWI entry will be updated.
After you have accessed all new voice mail messages, VMWI will turn off automatically. When the call
log is full, new VMWI entries will replace the oldest non-VMWI entry in the call log.
5.4.2 Delete a VMWI entry
Press the <UP/DOWN> keys to select the desired VMWI entry.
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «DELETE».
5.4.3 Delete all VMWI entries
Press and hold <Key 4> to delete all VMWI entries. The
icon will disappear.
Note: Choose «DELETE ALL» in the call log to delete all VMWI entries and CID entries.

Date and time settings
Configure the correct time and date settings for accurate answering machine or call log entry times.
5.5.2
Modify the date format
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «CLOCK».
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «DATE FMT».
Press the <UP/DOWN> keys to select your desired date format (DD-MM-YY or MM-DD-YY).

Modify the time format
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «CLOCK».
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «TIME FMT».
Press the <UP/DOWN> keys to select your desired time format (12 HR or 24 HR).

Configure the time
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «CLOCK».
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «SET TIME».
Use the keypad to enter in the current time. according to the format you configured previously.

Configure the date
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «CLOCK».
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «SET DATE».
Use the keypad to enter in the current date according to the format you configured previously.
5.5.6
Alarm settings
When the alarm time is reached, the icon and “ALARM ON” will flash on the screen as an alarm tone
plays for 45 seconds. Press any key to disable the alarm. If snooze is enabled, the alarm will sound
again after seven minutes. Press and hold <EXIT CALL> to disable snooze.
Note: Using the keypad will still interact with the alarm even if it has been locked.
The alarm volume is the same as the handset ringer. If the handset ringer is set to VOLUME OFF, the
alarm defaults to VOLUME 1. If the set time is reached during a call, the icon and “ALARM ON” will
still flash on the screen. An alarm tone will be emitted to notify user the alarm time has been reached.
Once the user presses any key or presses and holds <EXIT CALL> to disable the alarm, the device
will revert to the call duration screen. During paging or ringing, the alarm will not sound when the alarm
time is reached. If the snooze function is enabled, the alarm will sound again at the end of the snooze
period provided that the device is not ringing or in paging mode at the end of the snooze period.
5.5.7
Enable/disable the alarm
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to select «ALARM».
Press the <LEFT KEY> and use the <UP/DOWN> keys to toggle the alarm ON/OFF.
If «ON» is selected, press the <UP/DOWN> keys to configure the alarm time.
Press the <LEFT KEY> to configure snooze and the <UP/DOWN> keys to toggle snooze ON/OFF.
