3. INSTALLING/REMOVING
ACCESSORIES
Before mounting any attachments, make
sure that the battery pack is removed from
the machine to avoid the risk of accidental
starting.
Note: We recommend that the operator
considers wearing protective gloves when
handling or changing the scraping or
cutting blades.
a. Loosen and remove the hexagonal
socket bolt in the spindle with the allen key
provided.
b. Mount the accessory onto the spindle
head at the desired angle and secure it
with the hexagonal socket bolt.
c. Check that the accessory sits correctly
on the spindle drive head, and that all four
spindle head drive pins are located in the
accessories drive holes.
4. SANDING SHEETS
This tool uses hook and loop backed
sandpaper, which grips firmly the backing
pad when applied with moderate pressure.
To change, simply peel off the old
sandpaper, remove dust from the backing
pad if necessary, and press the new
sandpaper in place.
Note: When removing the backing pad,
peel of the sanding sheet to expose the
hexagonal socket bolt.
5. APPLICATION
This is a versatile tool which will be of use
in many applications. Your Multi-Purpose
Tool can be used for sanding, and sawing
wooden materials, plastic and plaster. It
can also be used for working on soft walls
and wall tiles, and for dry sanding and
scraping of small surfaces.
It is especially suitable for working close to
edges and for flush cutting.
WARNING
Before using this tool, assess the working
environment and take all necessary safety
precautions for operator safety.
These may include the use of dust masks,
eye protection, and safety gloves etc.
Always hold the tool with both hands to
ensure full control.
Allow the very high speed oscillation of the
attached accessory to do the work. It is not
necessary to force the tool or to apply even
moderate pressure. Gently guidance of the
tool by the operator is all that is required.
6. MAINTENANCE
Your Multi-Tool requires no additional
lubrication or maintenance. There are no
user serviceable parts in your power tool.
Keep the tool clean, but do not use chemical
cleaners which may damage the plastic
parts. Clean with a dry cloth. Ensure that the
motor ventilation slots are kept clean.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Waste electrical products should not be
disposed of with household waste. Please
recycle where facilities exist. Check with
your Local Authority or retailer for recycling
advice.
