We recommend cleaning the base every 50 tamps, with the supplied
brush unless grind residue is noticed prior to this number.
Ensure portafilter is removed from the housing.
Brush all coffee grinds and dust off the
orange sensor at the rear of the housing.
Press the “CLEAN” button on the touch
screen. Piston will lower.
Brush the base and sides to remove all grind debris.
We do not recommend touching the base directly with your fingers
or hands to avoid oil transfer onto the piston.
Press “
CLEAN
” again to resume normal tamping programming.
Repeat as often as required.
