Install dampeners first into the Gate End (Illustration A), then into the slotted dampener bracket

STEP 13.
Fully extend assembly upward, anchor Gate Post back onto the floor surface, and tip gate down into Gate
Catch. As the gate approaches fully closed, you should hear a loud noise of the dampeners self-setting.
STEP 14.
Visually verify that the dampeners self-set into the appropriate location. If they did not, carefully tap them
into place with a screwdriver. (Illustration B)
DANGER
Keep fingers clear of dampener pivot points, dampeners are under high pressure.
