BIOS screen to change mode 
 

Step 3: 

Press the device number like ”1” which   
you would like to change. 

Step 4: 

Show [Warning !] message. Press “Y” as   
asking ”Are you sure?(Y/N)” to make sure   
you would like to set the SATA HDD to RAIDm 
1 mode. 

Step 5: 

Press “Y” again as asking “Are you really sure? 
(Y/N)” to reconfirm you want to set RAIDm1   
mode. 

Step 6: 

BIOS shows the hard disk is RAIDm1 mode, 
it means changing to RAIDm1 mode is   
successful. Pressing <ESC> key to continue

2-2. Set ATA environment 

 
As you follow the following procedure, the SATA hard disk is set for general 
use. The procedure is as below: 

Procedure 1:    2-2-A. Set BIOS to ATA mode 
Procedure 2:    3. Install Drivers 

 

The detail steps are described as below.   
   

2-2-A. Set BIOS to ATA mode 

There are 2 conditions as below for setting ATA mode. Please choose the 
item by your requirement.   
 

1. The first time use 

If this is your first time to set the SATA hard disk for general use,   
please refer to 

2-2-A-1. The first time use.

 

 

2. Changing original RAIDm1 mode to ATA mode   

If you have ever set the SATA hard disk as RAIDm1 mode previously, and 
now you would like to abort RAIDm1 real-time data protection feature to get
