2. The reservoir clips into upper or lower mounting slots on
the side of the tool sharpener. Clip the reservoir into the
upper slot for immediate use,
submerging the bottom of the
grinding wheel.
3. When the grinding job is
complete. Move the water
reservoir down to the lower
slots to remove the grinding
wheel from the water (Fig. 3).
A grinding wheel left in water
may absorb enough to
unbalance the grinding wheel.
4. Rinse out the reservoir and replace the water on a regular
basis to prevent accumulated debris or sediment from
contaminating the grinding wheel during grinding.
4.1 Consider placing a magnet in the reservoir to collect
metal debris. Handle the magnet with gloves when
cleaning to avoid metal slivers.
OPERATION
BIDIRECTIONAL ON/OFF SWITCH
The tool sharpener is equipped with a bi-directional motor that can
rotate the grinding and stropping wheels forward or in reverse.
The ON/OFF switch (I) determines the direction.
• Press upward to have the wheels rotate towards you from
the bottom.
• Press the switch down to have the wheels rotate towards
you from the top.
• Press the switch in the opposite direction of the current
selection to turn the power off. Press again either up or
down to select the direction of rotation.
