LUBRICANTS
For heavily loaded parts, it is recom-
mended to use lithium grease with the ad-
dition of molybdenum disulphide (MOS
2
)
or graphite. For less loaded components,
it is recommended to use general-purpose
machine greases that contain anti-cor-
rosive additives and are highly resistant to
water washout. Aerosol preparations (sil-
icone greases, anti-corrosive lubricants)
should have similar properties.
Before using lubricants, read the infor-
mation leaflet for the selected product.
Particularly important are safety rules
and how to handle a given lubricant and
how to dispose of waste (used containers,
contaminated rags, etc.). The information
leaflet (product card) should be kept to -
gether with the grease.
