3.9 Remote control EC800 (optional)
The remote control EC800 (fig.2) available as an optional accessory allows to control different functions:
1. Connect the remote control to the jack ONLY FOR REMOTE CONTROL (5).
2. The DMX INPUT (4) must not be connected.
3. Via the DMX OUTPUT (3), it is possible connect further MULTIFLOWER102 units in order to control them
with the remote control in sync with the master unit.
4. With the key STAND BY (15) you can activate and deactivate the light rays. If the feature is turned off for
a check, the LED next to the button lights up.
5. With the button MODE (13), select the operating mode:
a) SOUND Mode (LED light off).
By keeping the button FUNCTION (14) pressed, one of the three stroboscopic effect can be activated:
- Stroboscopic effect permanent;
- Strobe effect 2 LIGHT SHOW;
- Stroboscopic effect depends on the music.
b) CHASE (LED light on).
With the FUNCTION button you can change between 8 levels, the speed of rotation. With each press of
the button simultaneously changes the direction of rotation.
Note. The length of the cable remote EC800 is 10 m.
- 4 - MAINTENANCE
4.1 Cleaning the unit and maintenance
• Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during setup.
• Switch off the unit, unplug the main cable and wait until the unit has cooled down.
• All screws used for installing the device and any of its parts should be tightly fastened and should not
be corroded.
• Housings, fixations and installation spots (ceiling, trusses, suspensions) should be totally free from any
deformation.
• When an optical lens is visibly damaged due to cracks or deep scratches, it must be replaced.
• The main cables must be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately even when a
small problem is detected.
• In order to protect the device from overheat the ventilation openings should be cleaned monthly.
• The interior of the device should be cleaned annually using a vacuum cleaner or air-jet.
• It is recommended to clean the front at regular intervals, from impurities caused by dust, smoke, or other
particles to ensure that the light is radiated at maximum brightness. For cleaning, disconnect the main
plug from the socket. Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Then carefully wipe the
part dry. For cleaning other housing parts use only a soft, clean cloth. Never use a liquid, it might pen-
etrate the unit and cause damage to it.
Warning: we strongly recommend internal cleaning to be carried out by qualified personnel!
