FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE
The console offers a selection of features designed to
make your workouts at home more effective. When the
manual mode of the console is selected, you can
change the speed and incline of the treadmill with the
touch of a button. Whilst you exercise, the console will
display continuous exercise feedback. You can even
measure your heart rate using the handgrip pulse
sensor.
Four preset programs are also offered. Each program
automatically controls the speed and incline of the
treadmill as it guides you through an effective
workout.
Note: To prevent damage to the walking platform,
always wear clean athletic shoes whilst using the
treadmill. The first time you use the treadmill, peri-
odically inspect the alignment of the walking belt,
and centre the walking belt if necessary (see page
18).
HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER
Plug in the power cord (see
page 10). Next, locate the
on/off switch on the tread-
mill frame near the power
cord. Make sure that the
switch is in the on position.
Next, stand on the foot rails of the treadmill. Find the
clip attached to the key (see the drawing above), and
slide the clip onto the waistband of your clothes. Then,
insert the key into the console. After a moment, the
displays and various indicators will light.
Test the clip
by carefully taking a few steps backward until the
key is pulled from the console. If the key is not
pulled from the console, adjust the position of the
clip.
