LEAK DECAY TESTING
1.
Make sure that the
RED
LED light indicator is off (not lit).
2.
In “Air Mode” using the air/smoke hose pressurize the “fixed”
system until it is properly filled with air and desired PSI
needed.
3.
Turn
RED
rocker switch to “off” and check gauge to see if the
pressure is falling, and the ball in the flow meter is rising. If this
happens, you still have a leak in the system. You will need to
re-smoke the system to find another leak.
4.
If the pressure is holding, the leak is fixed.
Unit is not applicable for EVAP SYSTEMS!
