The
<AES/EBU U bit>
option allows the user to route
also the User Bit
data from
the AES/EBU frame along with the audio stream over IP. This can be useful to
control remotely some third party devices sensitive to the User Bit of the
AES/EBU frame.
Since the decoded audio will be always available on both output interfaces
(analog and digital), several syncs could be applicable for the digital stream over
the AES3 interface. Syncs could be:
<External>
, which means the
AES3 derives its sync from [sync input] of the
digital audio interface. As opposed, if
<External> is not selected with option
<Analog>, the internal AES3 clock is enabled.
<Audio>
, which means
the
AES3 derives its sync from the [AES/EBU
input] of the digital audio interface.
