5.4.2 Installation Procedures
On the server PC, start up the “Setup.exe” file in the [RASSvr] folder on the accessory CD-ROM, and then
install the program by following the instructions on the screen.
5.4.3 Setup and Preparation of the Remote RAS Feature
In order to monitor the System Monitor/RAS features from the server PC, you are required to set up the
Remote RAS feature and start up the System Monitor (PSA_Smon.exe).

Setting Up the Client PS-A
(1) Select [Start]
→
[Programs]
→
[System Monitor]
→
[System Monitor Property] commands to start the
System Monitor Property.
(2) On the [Remote RAS] tab, put a check mark to the [Enable] checkbox.
The Remote RAS feature is now enabled.
*1 When allocating 2 or more IP Addresses to the PS-A unit, [Auto] cannot be selected. Enter settings that
allow the reading of a fixed IP Address from a DHCP server. For details, contact your company’s net-
work administrator.
• In order to actually activate the Remote RAS feature, you are required to start up the System
Monitor (PSA_Smon.exe) within the PS-A.
