Moving and unpacking
WARNING
Microwave hazard!
The cover in the cooking chamber ser-
ves to protect the magnetron, which
emits the microwaves.

Never remove the cover inside the
cooking chamber!
• Carefully unpack the appliance and remo-
ve all packaging, plastic moulding, adhesi-
ve strips and foam padding from the inside,
outside and back of the appliance.
Choosing the correct set-up
location

Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage or may cause a
fi re. Heat trapped inside the appliance
may shorten its service life.

Ensure suffi cient ventilation. Do not
cover the vents, for example with
oven mitts or cookery books.

When setting up the appliance, ensu-
re that the minimum

are maintained which are speci-
fi ed in the user manual.

Do not put the appliance in a cup-
board.

The appliance should be positioned near a
wall, but not directly next to a refrigerator or
deep freezer. The heat emitted from the micro-
wave would cause the refrigerator or freezer
to consume more energy unnecessarily.
There must be a minimum spacing of 2 m
from radio devices and televisions, to ensure
that the reception is not distorted.
