11. Emergency stopping
The hoist unit also has an Emergency Shut-off feature that allows the
operator to shut the power to the hoist unit completely off. By pulling
down once on the RED emergency lowering cord, located on the
underside of the hoist unit, the hoist will immediately stop and all its
functions will be disabled.
The unit will beep once and all power to the hoist will be turned off.
The ON Indicator light and display will turn off, and the Emergency Shut-
off button located inside the hoist case will pop out.
Should this feature be used, contact your local authorised dealer
immediately. The hoist unit must be inspected prior to restoring to use.
In order to restore power back to the hoist unit, the white plastic
tab that popped out when the cord was pulled, can be easily pressed
back into the hoist case by use of your finger.
Once the RED Emergency Stop / Lowering Cord is released the hoist unit
will need to be reset in order to operate again. This can be achieved by
pressing the plastic tab located at the end of the RED CORD, back into
the hoist. Then, simply press any button on the hand control to resume
power. Please see (fig 10b.)

hoist. The unit will beep once and all power to the hoist will be
turned off.
