1. Ausmachen: Gas
Wie immer bei Gas: alles easy! Sie drehen den Regler einfach zu (= im
Uhrzeigersinn), fertig. Gasreste in der Brennstoffleitung
verdunsten
rückstandsfrei.
2. Ausmachen: Flüssigbrennstoff
• Geben Sie nochmal richtig Vollgas, und drehen dabei die Flasche um (d.h.
die Beschriftung „OFF“ auf der Pumpe
zeigt nach oben).
• Es dauert jetzt noch etwa 45–60 Sekunden, bis die letzten Brennstoffreste
in der Brennstoffleitung
auch noch verbrannt sind.
• Schließlich züngelt noch eine kleine Flamme (wie eine kleine Kerze): blasen
Sie sie einfach aus, und drehen Sie den Brennerregler
zu.
Dieses Umdrehen der Flasche auf „OFF“ und das Leerbrennen der Brennstoff-
leitung
ist ganz wichtig. Da dann keine Brennstoffreste in der Leitung
zurückbleiben, können sie sich auch nicht dort ablagern. Sie ersparen sich
damit viel Reinigungs- und Wartungs-Aufwand. Eine ganz feine Sache!
Flasche oder Kartusche leer = wechseln
Drehen Sie den Regler zu. Überzeugen Sie sich, daß die Flamme aus ist und
keine andere in der Nähe. Schrauben Sie jetzt den Brennerregler
von der
Kartusche bzw. vom Anschluß an der Pumpe
.
Lassen Sie noch den Restdruck aus der Flasche bevor Sie sie zum Füllen
öffnen. Wichtig: niemals über die Füllinie (Markierung auf der Flasche) füllen!
Bevor Sie die neue Kartusche oder die aufgefüllte Flasche wieder auf-
schrauben, sollten Sie unbedingt den O-Ring
(= Dichtung) im
Verbindungsstück überprüfen.

1. Turning off: gas
As always with gas cartridges: everything is easy! Just turn off the valve (=
clockwise), and that’s it. The rest of the gas in the fuel line
will evaporate
without residue.
2. Turning off: liquid fuel
• Turn over the bottle (the inscription OFF on the pump
should be
upwards).
• It will take 45–60 seconds until the last remains of fuel in the fuel line
has burned.
• After a while there will be only a little flame left (small, candle-like). Just
blow it out and turn off the valve
.
Turning the bottle to OFF will bleed the fuel line
which is very important. In
the fuel line there will be no fuel left that might leave residues. This will save you
a lot of cleaning and maintenance. And that’s very practical.
Bottle or cartridge empty = change it
Fuel changes or the filling of bottles must be done outdoors. Turn off the con-
trol valve
(= clockwise). Make sure that the flame is out and that there is
no other flame nearby. Unscrew the control valve
from the gas cartridge
or from the connection on the pump
.
Let out the rest of the pressure from the bottle before you open it for filling.
Important: never fill it above the filling line (marked on the bottle)!
Before you fit on the new cartridge or the refilled bottle, always check the
O-ring
(= seal) in the control valve
.
