Planar pH sensors can be glued, for example,
inside disposables (e.g. cell culture flask) and
the pH can be measured
non-invasively
and
non-destructively
from outside through the
wall of the flask.
Only prerequisite: The wall of the flask has to
be transparent and non-fluorescent.
