Sensitivity
0-31
You can adjust the sensitivity value to accommodate your own style of playing. This grants you more
control over the dynamics of your performance.
When higher sensitivity levels are set, the pads will be susceptible to lighter hits. Lower values will
reduce the sensitivity.
Threshold
0-31
This setting allows you to determine a threshold at which the pad will respond to hits .
You’ll find this useful for minimising the risk of vibrations triggering sounds on other pads.
This setting can be adjusted on demand and should be repeated until you find the perfect setting
that suits your playing style .
Curve
These settings help control the relationship between velocity and volume. Please adjust this curve
until you achieve a response that feels natural to you.
Linear – Linear offers the most natural relationship between velocity and volume.
EXP1/EXP2 – In contrast to linear, the heavier the hit, the greater the velocity.
LOG1/LOG2 – Compared to EXP1/EXP2, the lighter the hit, the greater the velocity.
SPLINE – Spline offers a huge response to powerful hits.
LOUD1/LOUD2 – These settings allow you to achieve powerful drum hits with very little strength
required . This will come in particularly useful when you require consistent hits .
Dynamic
Range
0 - 9
This adjusts the overall dynamic range of the drum kit. When set at a low volume the drum kit will
only produce loud hits. When set at “9” you will be able to play at all volumes.
Scan Time
0 - 4.0(ms) This determines the detection time of the signal after you first hit the pad.
Retrig Level
0 - 16
This setting minimises the risk of unwanted re-triggering. Occasionally the module will interpret a
sample fading out as a new hit and repeat the sound. Adjusting this setting resolves this issue.
Mask Time
0 - 64(ms) This setting minimises the risk of accidental double triggering. Adjust this setting if you experience
problems with ghost notes.
Anti-Cross
0 - 80
This setting minimises cross talk (the accidental triggering of a pad caused by vibrations when
hitting another aggressively). In most cases you can prevent cross talk by moving the pads away
from each other and checking that they are not overtightened on the frame. However if the issue still
occurs, adjust this setting until cross talk is eliminated.
Rim Gain
0 - 8
This allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the rim pad. The higher the value, the greater the
sensitivity.
Head Rim
0 - 80
When hitting a drumhead hard you may accidentally trigger the rim. Increase this setting to reduce
the sensitivity of the rim.
Xstick Adj
-9 - +9
This allows you to determine the strike strength of the cross-stick hit .
Pedal
HH
Sens
-5 - +5
This allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the closed hi-hat.
