3. Press Arm Cable (46254-101)
and Seat Carriage (46414-101)
Adjustments
Cable adjustments to the Press Arm and Seat
Carriage are required if you notice the following:
✔
Press Arm does not drop into the stowed position
easily.
✔
Press Arm does not stay in the stowed position.
✔
Weights slip while performing a press exercise.
Note:
To eliminate interference between the Pec Fly
Arms and the orange handle of the Press Arm, the
Press Arm must lock into the stowed position.
A. To adjust Cable 46254-101, remove the Weight
Stack Pin from the Weight Stack.
B. Press the orange handle and lower the Press Arm
into its stowed position.
C. Check that the Cable Eyelet moves freely back and
forth on the 2-inch bolt found on the Cable Bracket.
D. If it doesn’t, loosen the nuts using two open-end or
crescent wrenches and adjust the cable.
E. When the Cable Eyelet moves freely back and
forth, wrench tighten the opposing nuts to lock
down the cable.
CAUTION: If the Cable Eyelet does not move freely
back and forth on the 2-inch bolt, the lock
mechanism cannot fully engage. During a workout,
the weights can slip which abruptly reduces the
resistance of the Press Arm. This sudden reduction
may cause injury.
