S3.55 Assembly and Maintenance Guide

2. Press Arm Cable (46008-101)
Adjustment

A. To adjust the Press Arm Cable (46008-101),

remove the Weight Stack Pin from the Weight Stack.

B. Sit on the seat and grasp both Press Arms.

C. Depress the blue button on the end of the Press

Arm Handle and rotate the Press Arm Handle
down. You’ll hear a click as the Selector Pin moves
into its lowest position (position #1).

Note:

The Selector Pin will not disengage if there

is too much tension on the cable.

D. Verify that the Selector Pin is locked into position #1.

E. Adjust the Press Arm Cable using the threaded

cable end attached to the Single Pulley Blocks.

CAUTION: The rubber bumper at the base of
the Single Pulley Block must be touching the
Lower Crossbar. Do not allow any gap. If a gap
exists, the selector pin may not disengage
properly.
