Procedure 7.3
- Replacing the Upper and/or Lower Interconnect
Cables
Procedure
Note:
Before you install a new interconnect cable, ensure that the interconnect cable is
defective. Refer to Procedure 6.1.
1.
Remove the rear cover and disconnect the red battery lead from terminal M6 of the lower
PCA.
2.
Pry the end cap out the front of the frame base tube with a thin bladed screwdriver (See
Diagram 7.4).
3.
Carefully withdraw both cables and mid-point connector.

If you are replacing the upper interconnect cable skip to step 9. If you are replacing the
lower interconnect cable continue with step 5.
5.
Remove the left and right rear cover sections. Disconnect the interconnect cable from the
lower PCA.
