2. Click on “Hardware” – “Device Manager” – “Ports”

3. Here is the USB Serial Port associated with the new USB

device (e.g. COM3).

4. If there are more USB Serial ports enabled, disconnect the

modem from the USB port and notice which COM port
disappears from the above screen. Connect the modem to
the USB port again and notice which port is enabled. This is
the COM port to be selected in the HTTemp program.
