PDA8301 & PDA8302 USB Driver Installation

1. Connect the modem to the USB port and follow the on-screen

instructions.

2. When prompted for the driver location, browse to the folder

where the downloaded software was unzipped. If connected
to the Internet, allow the program to search for the driver.

3. The driver installation program requires the process to be

repeated twice. Please DO NOT press Cancel; go ahead and
repeat the process again. After the second time the driver
installation is completed and a message is displayed
indicating that the new hardware is ready to be used.

Determining the COM Port Number

To determine the COM port number associated with the new USB
device installed:

1. Click on “Start” – “Control Panel” – “System”
