STEP 3
With the factory
panel removed,
remove the
HVAC unit. Use
a small standard
screwdriver to
apply a small
amount of
pressure while pulling on the unit.
STEP 1
Turn the ignition to the ON position
WITHOUT STArTINg THE VEHICLE.
Put the truck into low gear. This
allows removal of the outer front
panel of the dash. The outer front
panel of the dash is clipped into
place and simply pulls out, but be
careful not to apply too much force.
STEP 2
remove the screw on the left and right hand side of the HVAC unit.
With these screws removed, pull out the factory panel on the right
(High Idle Switch and Duramaximizer and Tech IV panel are shown for
demonstration purposes).
