IAG VF Series Turbo Wastegate Bracket for 2004-13 STI & 09-13 WRX

Tools Required: 8mm socket, ¼” drive ratchet, 90° pick,
pliers, 4mm ball head allen, 6mm allen, ½” wrench
TThank you for choosing IAG Performance. This internal
wastegate locking bracket is designed to replace the
factory wastegate actuator and lock the wastegate shut.
This installation guide assumes that you already have an
external wastegate installed. Do not install this product
and operate the engine if you do not have an external
wastegate already installed. Please follow the instructions
below for an easy installation.
For clarity, some of the
pictures taken for this guide were taken with the turbo off
of the vehicle. The steps are the same whether the turbo is
on or off of the vehicle.
Removal
:
1. To reduce the risk of burning yourself, please wait for
the engine to cool to ambient temperature before
beginning work.
2. Remove the boost line from the top nipple on the
actuator.
