surfaces.

Keep all parts of your body away from any moving part.

Do not overreach. Keep firm footing and balance. Overreaching can result in loss of balance.

Avoid Accidental Start. Do not carry plugged in appliance with finger on trigger. Be sure the switch
trigger is not engaged before plugging in.

Do not use tool if switch trigger does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the

accessories such as cutting line and when not in use. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk
of starting the tool accidentally.

Do not abuse the cord . Never carry the string trimmer by the cord or yank the cord to disconnect it
from the receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, and sharp edges.

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter(GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuit(s) or outlet(s) to
be used for the string trimmer. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and may be
used.

Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can get caught in moving parts. Protective rubber gloves
and non-slip footwear are recommended when working outdoors.

Use safety glasses . Also use safety footwear, snug-fitting clothing, protective gloves, hearing and
head protection.
