 Installation Guide

 

Removing the CPU 

Â

To remove the CPU from the PL-Pro/II upgrade adapter: 

1.  Remove the CPU heatsink/fan. 
2.  Remove the upgrade adapter from your computer�s ZIF socket. 
3.  Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver under one edge of the CPU and gently pry 

upward until there is a slight gap between the CPU and the socket. Repeat on 
the opposite side of the CPU, and lift the CPU out of the socket.
