2. Firmly press the CPU into the adapter socket. The CPU should be pushed
into the socket far enough so that there is no gap between the CPU and the
socket (the CPU pins should not be visible).
3. Peel the white layer from the provided thermal pad and place the thermal pad
squarely over the FC-PGA silicon die.

4. Peel the transparent layer from the top of the thermal pad.

To install the PL-Pro/II upgrade adapter in your
computer:
1. Place your computer where you will have plenty of space to work.
2. Turn the computer off and disconnect all power cords and cables from
the rear of the computer.
3. Remove the cover from the computer (as described in the computer
documentation).
