OPERATION
NOTE:
When this manual references a part number, it refers to the diagram above.
1. Always grip both handles when operating this tool.
2. To turn the tool on, squeeze the Trigger ON/OFF Switch (#3).
3. To turn the tool off, release the Trigger ON/OFF Switch.
4. To adjust the speed of rotation, turn the Speed Control Dial (#2).
PREPARATION FOR SANDING
1.
Connect the Hook & Loop Sanding Pad (#

) to the shaft of the Motor Housing (#1).
2.
Attach 7 in. diameter hook and loop sandpaper to the sanding pad.
PREPARATION FOR POLISHING
1.
Place the Polishing Pad (#

) onto the Motor Housing shaft.
2.
Turn it until it engages with the flat sides of the shaft to prevent it from slipping on the shaft.
3.
Place the Polishing Pad Arbor (#

) onto the threaded Motor Housing shaft with the flat side facing away
from the Motor Housing.
4.
Tighten the Arbor with the Spanner Wrench (#
8
).
5.
Place the Polishing Bonnet (#

) over the Polishing Pad and tie the laces firmly.
NOTE: Most automotive finishes require a softer and plusher polishing bonnet to buff waxed finishes.
