CHECKING OIL LEVEL
1. Remove the oil filler cap and wipe the dipstick clean.
2. Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the filler neck without screwing it in.
3. If the level is low, fill to the top of the oil filler neck with the recommended oil.
FUEL
1. Check the fuel gauge, and refill the tank if the fuel level is low.
2. Refuel carefully to avoid spilling fuel. Do not fill above the shoulder of the fuel strainer.
WARNING! Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive; you could be seriously burned or injured if fuel is
ignited during refuelling.
3. Stop the engine and keep heat, sparks, and flame away from the fuelling area..
4. Refuel only outdoors.
5. This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline - use unleaded gasoline with a pump octane
of 86 or higher.
NOTE: Unleaded gasoline produces fewer engine and spark plug deposits and extends the life of the exhaust
system. Never use stale or contaminated gasoline, or an oil / gasoline mixture. Do not allow dirt or water to enter
the fuel tank.
